A stunning statement millinery piece straight from the glamorous 1940s! This fabulous true vintage hat is fashioned from structural, mid-weight black wool felt and features a beautifully shaped crown designed to sit elegantly tilted forward on the head, with brim that tapers in towards the back.
The real showstopper is the dramatic contrast panelling along the crown - cream-coloured grosgrain creates striking geometric triangles, overlaid with dense, swirling black soutache cord embroidery. At the back of the head is a cute felt bow detail. A truly head-turning piece for Goodwood Revival or period events.
